Hello All, Thought I would share my last project. It is a snowmobile lift for raising and lowering my sled so I dont have to work on my old prayer bones anymore I got the free plans off the net www.totallyamaha.com I changed a few things but basically the same design I have yet to put wheels on, next time I go to the farm and home store pick some up with brakes and paint. I welded on a pair of coupler nuts on the back and got a pair of leveling pads for appliances for adjusting the rear height. A 1/2 drill works great with ease with alittle of geometry. This fall I will show some pics in action the sled is in storage already tried it on my neighbors sled just to make sure it worked lol Attached Images

Reply:Thanks guys, The sled I will be lifting weighs 480 lbs. The drill lifted my neighbors sled easy that one weighs 500lbs. The jack I used is a trailer tounge jack with the mounting bracket of the jack removed and it has a 5000lb rating. I thought of puting a flat plate of aluminum across the arms and use it for lifting other things ATVs ect... So to answer the question, I do not know how much it will hold or lift Iam sure a math person on here will be able to answer the quest. though
