start to a new 62 yrd dipper door

Building a dipper door from the ground up. Only about a week of work into it so far. A few shots of the beams and parts to the bolster box. Also one of the ears. Last pic is parts being tacked to the back of the face. I will keep posting pics as we move along. Its all  1 1/2 and 2 inch plate so far beveled for 100% penetration. Attached Images

Reply:0k small update. pics are of most of the parts tacked into place. then the welding begins. I got a few shots of my welding ..... nothing special. Hope to have this completed in another week as work is pilling up. comments or suggestions are welcome. i like to get new ideas on how to fabricate things. Attached Images

Reply:yes it is mostly all dual shield wire. its not in a shop just a three sided building on wheels so if the wind picks up out comes the NR233.Mick thanks for the kind words. As for serious stuff i am not sure we want anything more. We are running supper lean on help....So if anyone wants to come sling some wire in the desert heat give a shout.I will keep pics coming .. thanks for looking
