New mig Trolley

I just had a 20 year old dream come true. I have build boat docks for a little over 20 years. I get tired of always having to move the mig and running over or having to move the power cable and ground. So I just got this trolley finished. I will post a video when I get a chance. Reply:Well, it has been awhile since I built this trolly. The welder is hanging with a piece of 4" polyethylene pipe as an insulator. That was a temporary fix, until I found time to fix it right.   I just finished my CNC Plasma table and this was at the top of the list of repairs. I would hit my head on it if I didn't pay attention.    So I need to shorten the previously engineered hanging apparatus. This is what I came up with. Attached Images

Reply:just a question, why the insulating link. the bases on our miller feeders (54e) are made of a nylon-type material (non-conductive) so hanger bail is isolated from wire hub. am i correct in this assumption? looks like a great convience, nice work.
Reply:All I know is when the machine is turned on and without an Insulator , it starts melting the wire.
