don't weld the clamp

got a mig i want to play with and going to buy this clamp  http://www.besseytools.co.uk/c-clamp...-vc-50-50.html  can anybody tell me if this will last for years and years of abuse, slinging in a shed and thought use, me and my boys come up with a lot of random things to do  any experienced people can you let me know please
Reply:I my experience Bessey makes quality clamps and that should last you a long time.
Reply:Yep, Bessey makes good clamps.  But you will want more than one.  If price is an issue, even the beam-style woodworking clamps will often work for a while if you pull the plastic pads off of them.  You can buy a lot of them for the price of one Bessey.  Also, Strong Hand makes clamps that are similar to the Besseys at a lower price point.  I have several of them, and they've been satisfactory.

Reply:it's not too sophisticated a piece of equipment and has the advantage of having not too many moving parts. should last forever if you take care of it. better get more than one though.i.u.o.e. # 15queens, ny and sunny fla
