Reply:bitchin' finish... tell us more about the finish
Reply:The actual symbol is stainless shaped with tig, with drip by drip build up & "shaping" with the heat of the tig. I purposely left it "lumpy", cleaned it up with scotch brite discs, then polished it 2 a mirror finish. Then into a 900*f oven for about 3 hrs. Also hit it with a rosebud, oven time only tanned it,& I wanted some blue & violet hilites, After cooling, sprayed it with Rustoleum enamel clearcoat. The client wanted the symbol 2 look like water I don't think I succeeded, but she liked it!
