here are some of the pictures of my latest project...‎" HUS KALYDONIOS " FOUND METAL ASSEMBLAGEheight=17" width=26" depth=12"JUNE 2012The HUS KALYDONIOS (or Calydonian Boar) was a gigantic boar sent by Artemis to ravage the countryside of Kalydon to punish King Oineus for neglecting her in the offering of the first fruits to the gods. The king summoned heroes from throughout Greece to hunt down the beast. The famed Calydonian Boar Hunt which ensued was led by the king's own son Meleagros (Meleager) who struck the killing blow. The hero, however, awarded the skin-trophy to Atalanta as a prize for drawing the first blood. She dedicated it to Artemis, hanging it from a tree in a sacred Arkadian grove. Attached Images

Reply:I'm guessing that the time he puts into his artwork returns $ at a higher rate than almost all of the other options that are available to him, given his exceptional skill and eye.I really enjoy seeing these creations.  Thanks for posting them.

Reply:I love your work.   Keep posting please.   Knew a guy when I lived in CA that did that. (One of my favorite peices was a lifesize person made of wrenches).  He had it in a gallery in LA for $40,000.   I am just trying to teach myself to draw and do art so I can do scrap metal art too.  I have a few sources for large scrap metal parts if and when I get to doing it.  Couple of places I worked in the past, John Deere, 4x4 shop both scrap all kinds of interesting peices...  Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2Last edited by soutthpaw; 06-12-2012 at 08:24 AM.Tiger Sales:  AHP Distributor    www.tigersalesco.comAHP200x; AHP 160ST; MM350P,  Spoolmatic 30A; Everlast PowerTig 185; Thermal Dynamics 60i plasma.  For Sale:  Cobra Mig 250 w/ Push-pull gun.  Lincoln Wirematic 250
