Had reason to do some high iron this weekend.Leased a crane, and got her down on the ground And proceeded to put some new legs on it. Not a biggy, but it kept me in good graces "Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
Reply:Man, that thing looks sad in the first photo. We have galvanized mills on the farm that are approaching 90 years old & the galvanizing is still good.Still, a small mill like that might only pump a pint every hour. Makes for some dehydrated cows.......MarkI haven't always been a nurse........Craftsman 12"x36" LatheEnco G-30B MillHobart Handler 175Lincoln WeldandPower 225 AC/DC G-7 CV/CCAdd a Foot Pedal to a Harbor Freight Chicago Electric 165A DC TIG PapaLion's Gate Build
Reply:Is that going to hold up when you climb up top to put in the prop? Funny how those little odd jobs rack up the points tho. You can't ever have enough points stored up. Never know when you might need them!!I had to stop everything ASAP yesterday to patch some little paper thin umbrella holder tubing that tore away with a puff of wind. My rec was for her to run down town and pay $20.00 for another one just like it, but nope that one had to be fixed. So I goobered it back together and the big smiles came out. Oh well, I put the points in my pocket for future use ------ like when you spray weed killer on something you find out wasn't a weed. Or mow over something that wasn't supposed to be mowed over."The things that will destroy America are prosperity at any price, peace at any price, safety first instead of duty first, the love of soft living and the get rich quick theory of life." -Theodore Roosevelt
