This is a Weather guard Pack Rat 336-3 Drawer Unit; found on Craig's List today. Want to mount in under my Miller 250 NT. Any suggestions or pit falls. Extra eyes looking at a problem are always welcome. Attached Images
Reply:I've got two of those pack rats. They are heavy duty SOBs. Takes two people to lift one of them. You can buy small parts as needed from Weatherguard as needed to keep it opening and gliding like new. Ive not looked close but it would not suprise me if they were made from .120 plate.The bobcat is probably 500 pounds. I'm sure the PR would probably take the weight but i would not do it out of fear what would happen in an accident. Even with bolts and mounting plates, that high center of gravity is asking for trouble for you and those around you.
Reply:Don't you know cats eat rats?
