So first off I have a budget of $800 ish for a budget TIG machine. I need to be able to do aluminum, stainless, obviously steel is okay. I've been looking at a Everlast unit for sheer price point. Please recommend a Everlast machine that'll hook to 110/220 and have a good set of bells and whistles if you can. Totally appreciate your guys/gals help.
Reply:I would look for a used Miller Syncrowave, or Miller 180sd, or Lincoln Squarewave 175 or 185, would be some other good models to look for before I would buy one of those.Last edited by brucer; 11-17-2013 at 04:02 AM.tackleexperts.comwww.necessityjigs.comhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/mach...dingequipment/

Reply:3 years according to Amazon.. I know the rep. hangs out on weld.com on their forum. Look for AHP TOOLS, that is the rep....You might look over there...Mine has been trouble free since new...and I have introduced three new welders to tig on this machine... and you know they are not easy on a machine.....Last edited by kevinacaron; 11-17-2013 at 09:50 PM.From the desk of Kevin CaronTrying to be the best me I can!www.kevincaron.comAHP Alpha Tig 200x MillerMatic 251Miller Syncrowave 200
Reply:Well I picked up an AHP tig welder. After my previous experience with the Lotos chinese DC only tig welder being pretty darn good. I figured I would try another non-name brand welder. I will let you guys know how it goes.
Reply:Good luck with your machine.Safety 3rdGump |
