Trying to find work for my truck. Anything will help.
Reply:No good simple solutions to this. Get out there and beat the bushes.Work is very regional. Some areas are desperate for help, others there's a glut of workers and no one is hiring. Even if there is a demand, that doesn't mean they want you. In this economy it's an employers market. They can be picky about who they hire. With all the new health regs, many places aren't looking to take on new guys even if they do need help. They are better off giving their current guys OT than have to cover extra workers..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth! Ronald Reagan

Reply:Thanks guys. I'll up date my profile. I'm from southern louisiana. Not far from the lafayette area. I mainly do structural fitting/welding. I really want to get more into pipe. I know that's where it's at. I just need to opportunity to get out there and learn more about it. I can do the basics. But I know there's more to it. |
