Im building aluminum sides for my truck, to slide into the flatbed pockets. The frame is .125 channel and square, some rect tubing. The skins are .190, and will be fastened with 3m adhesive. My supplier, and all that i have come across, do not offer 1.5"x3"x.125 in 6061.Does anyone see a problem with swapping it out with 6063? Its basically just going to be a spot to adhere the skin too, not much of any load on it.Its similar to this trucks sides. The peice i am discussing is the out member of the lower side panel.Im contemplating swapping it out for the next available size in 6061. Attached Images
