I have yet to start the actual handrail this machine is intended for.. but this is what I have accomplished so far... This first pic is about 21' of 1 1/2" sch 40 pipe I experimented withThis is after the experiment and finally getting an exact 90 degree bend Attached Images
Reply:I figured I would need to bend a 45 degree part some day.. Obviously the last two pics show just that.. After establishing the correct amount of spring back needed with the digital controls.. I think I may have it. I am more than pleased with the service and equipment Bailiegh has to offer... I email them (Shane) with a question... They (he) calls with an answer. If anyone ever needs to bend pipe or tubing.. I recommend Bailiegh.
Reply:very nice.  what size tubing can you go up to?

Reply:I have the RDB-250... great unit. As for the practice bends I would suggest BendTech software. Does all the calculations and makes simple or complex bending a beeze. It will pay for itself in waste alone not to mention your time.http://www.bend-tech.com/

Reply:BendTech has great customer support too.I wish someone could come up with a universal pipe/tube die. The price of those things are killing me! Almost as much as the machine cost by the time you buy a few.

Reply:That's what I do also. I wait for a job and tell them to buy the die or include it in the price of the job. To bad you couldn't rent the damn things but by the time you shipped them both ways and paid rental you might as well buy it!On another note... I made this little holder out of some diamond plate. Real helpful keeping things in order. Attached Images
Reply:Very nice holder  I plan to make something thats serves a similar purpose one of these days as well... I see also that the 250 has a convenient handle... also something I may incorporate to the 175..
