Hello All, Made a stereo box for my welding trailer. I made it out of 6061 scraps they had some scratches in them, sanded with 1200 grit paper with my da then buffed with white rouge. The speakers I got from my neighbor who works in a factory and cabbaged them out of quality control. They have 2 small marks on them other then that perfect. Wonder why the country is going broke and things are so expensive? They were headed to the dumpster. Score for me!! The aluminum hinge is a drop from a aircraft supplier, grab a dzus out of the bin.The switches control 2-3x3 lights I have on the back of the trailer and for the interior lights and stereo. Iam still needing to improve my welds I dont tig all the time so any advice-criticism welcome. Attached Images

Reply:I love it!!!Only thing I would do is drill another switch into the left of the face and add a switch for outside speakers, get a set of marine grade speakers from WestMarine or eBay or something and you're all set!It looks good! The TIG doesn't look entirely too bad!_____________________________Rick The WelderRick's Mobile Welding & Fabrication, Newark, Delawarehttp://www.RickTheWelder.com
Reply:Kewl setup. Your TIG welds will hold that setup all day long. A buddy out here has two wake boat speakers on the rear channel of his deck. He fades the deck to the "rear" when he's working.
Reply:Thanks, Good Ideas guys, was thinking of adding a rollout canopy on the side as well keep the sun and rain off me and my tools when working outside

Reply:Gotta have tunes Nice setup If you cant fix it with a hammer, it must be an electrical problem."Boy, everyone starts with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before the bag of luck is empty."-Grandad circa 1990ish
Reply:That was a great idea! and looks really good
