Reply:Can't help you on the spool gun question but they are very good welders and $650 is a great deal if it's in good working condition. Ask in the Lincoln section, you'll probably get more responses.JohnA few weldersA lot of hammersA whole lot of C-clamps
Reply:A very good lower amp machine. I use one 3 or 4 days a week. It is maxed out on 1/4" steel if using gas. I use one on tap D or E for production fence work. The 215 is not fully wired for the spoolgun. That is the difference between the 215 and new 216. 216 has a lighted switch and no tool compartment, jus t a little drink holder lid that lifts up to hold tips. Lincoln does sell an adapter that installs in the wire compartment to power the spoolgun. Look inside next to the drive rolls for a little door with a "spoolgun" sticker on it. That is where the add on adapter goes. The 215 has more output and a far better arc than the miller 212. |
