My little portable setup...

I bought a Everlast 140 st a while ago and since I got my Square Wave Tig machine I don't really use the Everlast machine at all....however I have been wanting to get a portable setup going. I looked for a Miller AEAD , or Lincoln Ranger etc but couldn't find much locally. I decided after doing some research to just buy a generator and use the little 140 inverter...I found this barely used Coleman 5500-6850?? watt Geny for $275... some power cord and connectors and now I have a little portable setup that also has 4 110v  outlets as well...This setup works surprisingly good.. Reply:Demon...Most small portable generators with 110/115VAC output have only 15amp output receptacles.  The portable inverter welders (usually) need 20 amp sources.  Did you modify your generator somehow or are you just using 15 amp output to the welder?
