so if I light up run about an inch or so sometimes if I pull away a little I notice the puddle seems to glob up and doesn't flow well at all it more or less balls up and doesn't penetrate. im assuming its doing it from me pulling away and not feeding the puddle. lately though its been doing so more often. im just curious why it would do this in any case. im welding with a weldanpower 150 ac only machine. 1/8 6013 rod on something like 1/4ish inch plate at I believe 100 amps. and at 100 amps I can run a pretty looking weld just sometimes I have this problem and id like to know what would contribute to it. or is it just from not enough pressure on the rod?
