I have been saving my nickels for a while now for a 250 amp MIG welder, new plasma cutter and dry cut saw. Well, today, I sold my HH187, Everlast Plasma Cutter and Dewalt abrasive chop saw. I will be ordering my new tools tomorrow. If it works out, I will be getting a used Millermatic 251, if not, a new TA 210. I can't find a decent deal on a used plasma cutter, so I will be getting a new Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster 42. I would love a Hypertherm 45, but really need a dual voltage machine for portability. I looked at the Hypertherm 30, but for the same money, the TD 42 has a good bit more power on 220V (3.8kw vs 2.49kw). And the TD is about $200 cheaper. I wish Hypertherm made a 37.5 model As for the dry cut saw, I have not made up my mind. I like the Milwaukee and Makita the best. The fence and clamping mechanism seems more robust on the Makita, but it is 12" vs the 14" Milwaukee. Decisions, decisions...
Reply:its always fun getting new toys!I hope you manage to get everything you need!I'm a little sad at the moment because we are probably going to buy a house soon (which will be great), which means very little moneys to spend on new toys
