Reply:Couple things...1. PUT YOUR SAFETY GLASSES ON! The picture of you at the beginning of your video shows you grinding without safety glasses or face shield. New guys watching your videos trying to learn something might get the wrong impression not to mention its bad for you!2. You might try a lighter lens on your camera. I'd say to shades lighter than whatever your using now. The gold lenses are a couple bucks more if you really want to show your puddle, rod angle and work it would really help.3. Keep it up
Reply:You should be wearing safety goggles or a hood while grinding! Ask me know I know. Being stupid and lazy sent me to the eye doctor TWICE!Worst pain on planet earth is a piece of metal in your eyeball! Worse than that?? Reply:Hey man, like they all said you gotta keep the glasses on. I put mine on when the welder is first turned on and take them off when i'm done for the day. I've had too many grinding sparks and pieces of slag thrown in my face to warn me.-AlexSears/Craftsman 230A Buzzy BoxSears/Craftsman 180A Buzzy BoxChicago Electric 80A InverterALL STICK...ALL THE TIME!I spent a lot of time with the square peg and round hole. |
