Firewood Rack (Pipe)

My brother ask that I build him a firewood rack that would hold at least a 1/2 cord of wood. I had this 2 3/8 OD X 3/16 pipe and 1/4 plate for the feet. I decidied to try building it with the pipe and saddle cut the fittings. First time to ever saddle cut pipe (used bandsaw). I used a Miller 212 machine. It is level and square enough. I didn't any feet in the middle due to the area he is planning on putting it. There is very little give there anyway but he can always put a block in needed. Reply:I'm honestly surprised that no-one has insisted that you need gussets on it to support the load. LOL. That being said, I might suggest center supports. there will be a lot of weight in the center of that span.There are no problems. There are only solutions.
