Need Advice on how to repair 2 car hauler

i have a 32ft trailer with 6in channel and the upper frame cracked straight through in front of the wheel where the lower frame ends. Its under the front of the fender and cant be seen in the pic. How should I repair it?? Reply:I don't bet however I chose a deckover because the frame, an I beam or whatever the proper term for that structural shape goes continiously front to back.  Trailers similar to the one in the picture have a front section a middle section with the springs and a rear section.  The stress lines across the junctions just were not to my liking.  I would say flip it over open up or v out the cracks weld them up with something you can control in the needed position or use your lift and hold it up veritcally and work off saw horses and planks or step ladders.  Then examine how the stress lines go and add some material.  You might need to block it up straight or use a beam and chains and wedges or porta power things to get it straight.I would also invest at least an hour each in determining a)if doing what you have in mind invalidates the vehicle Id sticker and whatever dot code it is supposed to live up to. B) contact the manufacturer if possible and try and talk to an engineer or similar.Consider upgrading to a deck over or only loading pretty much one thing centered over the axles.Hope this helps.fran
