Sa-200 should I ?

I have a chance to buy a sa-200 k-6090 for $750 no doors hoods dented pretty good been siting out side all winter, should I chance it ?
Reply:With that code if I remember correctly should be a 68 I think. It will be a round barrel gen with a continental F163. The face plate should be one piece stamped steel with the lead terminals on the front of the machine. Its copper so yes it is worth the 750 just in parts. Does it have a rain cap on the exhaust? Look to see if it has the hand crank and try to see if you can spin it over by hand but be careful. If there is no rain cap it could be a simple stuck valve or it could be a stuck piston. For 750 i think i would get it even if the motor is locked.

Reply:Yeah I figure that's not right that's what it says for a serial number but when I called lincoln they told me that was the code where is the serial number ?

Reply:It does weld, and the auto idler works to my surprise, I didn't think $750 was bad I know red faces are better, but the only red face I've seen for sale up here was $6000 and it was pretty weather warn thanks for the info
