Fixed shade lens opinion

I need to buy a fixed shade lens for a Jackson welding helmet.  4-1/2 by 5-1/4 size.I bought a Jackson Nexgen hood from a member here only to find out the auto darkening lens was broken.  The member made good on it and gave he a partial refund.  So now I have a hood with no lens, but good headgear and many lens covers.  For a full $28 all in, I'm no longer upset about the transaction.  There's a variety for sale on eBay.  With the exception of the holy grail AO cool blue lens, most I've read have said to go with a gold lens.  A Harris #10 gold in my size is $15 shipped.  So which lens would you go with in what shade?I do mostly low amp tig, SC mig and some stick.  Thanks for the opinions.

Reply:If you can wait until the class I probably have a #11 gold lens I will give you......zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:Be happy that the auto dark was broke, i used to use one for tig and got flashed multiple times before I switched back to fixed shade.  It wasn't one of the cheap ones either, was a miller I thinkMiller Legend AEAD 200LE
