putting AR450 plate in dump box ??? on welding to mild steel of box

Purchased AR450 steel plate 7.25 feet x 14.0 feet for lining dump box.The present steel in dump box is mild 50,000 steel.How should I proceed in welding the AR450 steel plate to the mild steel?Any comments on what to do?

Reply:As Hobo stated when I. Didn't have the plate full seated I. Had problems with the material coming free. The plug welds will help alot. Get your dogs, wedges and be prepared to do some hot tacking and it'll all work out.
