My Signature Rock Candy Twist

This is the first time I have shown the twist I "invented" the other day.  I've been looking at various twists online and Ive never saw anything that comes close to this.  To me this twist looks like rock candy or "The Thing" off of the Fantastic Four.  I hope you guys like itheres the twist on a keychain I made, might start selling them soon if there is any interest.The demensions are 1/2x4 inches, I've made some out of 3/8x2 or 3 inches long.  I finished this keychain with black oxide.Heres another style of keychain I made

Reply:weldermike- thanks alot, I wanted to make my signiture twist alot different than anything ever twisted before, I think I did a decent job at it.
Reply:DSW- I hot chizel cuts a line into each side before I cut my design into each corner then twist it in two different heats, then finish up with the black oxide bath

Reply:This one was a gift I did for a religious friend, and one of my favorites. I made this out of some 3/8 key stock that was about to get tossed in the garbage. It's only about 8in long. Sorry, don't mean to hijack, but just love talkin twisting, and seeing literally a new TWIST on things!  I must say I really am impressed with that first one you showed! Reply:I made this awhile back.  Only the middle has the full twist.  It's a bottle opener made from railroad spike.I like it less twisted like the key chains you've made.  Very nice.Last edited by caldwellcpl; 11-27-2012 at 11:05 PM.
