Axle "save" ...

I got a call from a guy asking me to "finish" welding the brackets on his axle.... Said " he had them all tacked up"..... Ok, so when he drops the axle off....this is what I had to deal with.... Reply:Nice fix! Did you check how much the axle tube warped? A lot of welding on the backside side it looks like. It would make for a toe-out condition. Not good for a rear axle. If you did how much and what method did you use to straighten?

Reply:Lube changed too. See "it only takes two minutes" to do the job...Miller thunderbolt 250Decastar 135ERecovering tool-o-holic ESAB OAI have been interested or involved in Electrical, Fire Alarm, Auto, Marine, Welding, Electronics ETC to name a just a few. So YES you can own too many tools.
