before i went to work for the doc i was a structural ironworker. here are some pics of the j. javits center being erected. we built this truss on the ground then hoisted it into position. if you look close in the upper left corner you can see the connector guiding it home. Attached Images

Reply:pre-heating partial penetration column splices. preheat took a long time especially in the colder weather. every groove weld was ultrasound tested so i used lots of run off tabs. i got extra money for no cutouts. Attached Images
