Reply:A bear poking another bear with a stick is always fun to watch. a while back sundown and his merry men cheering him on with their pom poms got on me because I called around pricing jobs out with local buisnesses for a contract job. They thought it was unethical, and grabbed their pitchforks. Ive encountered many good welders like sundown, but at the end of the the day, their a bunch of premadonnas with bad attitudes. I was just having a little fun in this thread, not mean spirited, just ribbing him like I would anyone in the shipyard. Im sure his local followers will be along with their pom poms to cheer him on. Men like sundown and his groupies come a dime a dozen.

Especially when their girlfriends take out their pom poms to cheer them on. Whats funny is that these guys that talk a big game, as well as being rude to people, would never do it in person. Their the quiet type that will talk behind your back to avoid conflict. Their bottom feeders, and not worth their salt in my opinion.

Reply:Ive been part of allot of forums, but its those same select few here and the miller forum that put a bad taste in new welders mouths, and thats a damn shame. Lets also get something straight, the "buddy buddy" demeaner I did in a couple posts back wasnt weakness, or cowardness, I was being funny. If you knew me, you would know im anything but weak or a coward I can put my life on that one. The reason I jumped on the man or men in question is because I havent visited these welding forums in a while, but no matter how many years ive been away from it, I come back to the same crap happening from the the same people. Cut the crap! Also, I did apologize, so I guess Im not too proud right? The difference between the newcomers that you scare off, and me is that I can hold my own, and im not going anywhere, and I'll jump on the chance to correct someone for putting down the new guys trying to learn, and in the same breathe I dont have a problem apologizing if I step out of line. :beer:
Reply:I just recently started venturing into brewing myself. I'm actually building a morebeer tippy dump replica to switch to all grain. I've been just doing extract with specialty grain up to this point, but just switched over to kegging.
