Please help, problems mig welding aluminum

Hi. I'm trying to set up my machine to mig aluminum. The welds its producing look more like rabbit turds than anything else. Machine is a MillerMatic 211 with a Spoolmate 100, set per the manual at 5/70. Harris 4043 wire. Argon gas is set at 19cfh. I know the gas is good because I tig with it. Material is 1/8 Al scrap. Reply:There is no puddle, it just blobs up from the start. I just went and swapped my 211 back over to the regular gun, and ran some beads on steel. They came out fine, which tells me the machine has adequate gas flow.Bobcat 22512VSCST-280Millermatic 211Hypertherm Powemax 1000Victor O/A

Reply:Just a reminder, most of the hardware rack aluminum stock is crap aluminum....Not all of it but I have had problems with some......Better to just shear off strips of material you know is a good grade if you want to practice, or go to a fab shop that stocks 6061aluminum.....  Miller Dynasty 350Twenty Six HammersThree Crow BarsBig Rock
