Help - Metal Dye

HelloWe are a South African based company ans struggling to find any info in the paint/dyes that can do on the below pic. Does anyone have a contact or website where I might be able to find it or a processthanks

Reply:That's not dye, that's heat coloring. The artist uses a torch and heats the steel up to the proper temp to get the color he wants. It's an oxidation reaction caused by the heat, the temp you heat the metal too changes the color you end up with. It starts on the lower end with the light yellows and progresses as you get hotter to the dark blues and purples, too hot and you get gray.
Reply:Hello nibex, the majority of that has been done with heat as ironmanqq stated, the other colors(the white and black lines) appear to have been done with a white and black steel paint marker. Just my $.02. Have fun and best regards, Allanaevald
