Ideas for base of new kitchen table

I need some idea for base designs for a kitchen table.   It can either be a bigger fancy piece right in the middle or 4 fancy legs.  The top is going to be round or sqaure with wine corks glued to the top which will be capped off a piece of glass.  Help please!!  BTW its for my wife and we all know a happy wife is a happy life!      I did'nt grab no shoes or nothin' Jesus.  Ol lord Jesus its a fahr!!!!
Reply:You might look at King Metals for ideas. I've made some small end tables using similar pieces in the past. A couple of guys here have made some nice scroll bases for tables if that's the style you are looking for. Then there's always the "modern" style in something like stainless where you just keep it simple..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size.
