But I gave it a shot and I think it will work.A buddie at work has been rebuilding a 86 Honda ATV, every bearing in the front differential was toast. Could not locate this little pinion bearing anywhere. The one we DID find had the correct OD and thickness but the ID was too large. So What Would Zap Do? Weld it up and turn it down Just clean up pass.Forgot to get a pic of the weld before I started turning. I layed on 3 light passes letting it cool a bit between each one.TurningAnd it fits. Nice and snug not a press fit. If you cant fix it with a hammer, it must be an electrical problem."Boy, everyone starts with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before the bag of luck is empty."-Grandad circa 1990ish
Reply:Oh yeah, and the socket I had to make to get this nut out just to GET to the little bugger If you cant fix it with a hammer, it must be an electrical problem."Boy, everyone starts with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience.
