Here's some panels, a electrical box cover and a gate I made for a lady who loves this stuff Attached Images
Reply:Really nice work. Very clean.I assume you purchase the leaves. Just a suggestion. Several of the leaves look identical in form. Heating and beating into a piece of wood/stump would give them more unique/individual shape. Again, just a suggestion and not intending to take anything away from your gorgeous work.
Reply:Very nice work! Are those hammered balls around the tubing? How did you attach them?Fire!, Fire! Oh wait, that's my torch...Lincoln PT-225 TIGLincoln 175 MIG

Reply:Hi, Shadill. Excellent work, I bet your customers are over the moon. Would be nice if you could hide the mounting brackets in the design or behind some of the rivet heads, just to put the iceing on the cake. Top class craftsmanship, best regards Gordon.
Reply:thats beautiful work. How do you do those? do you use a forge or a torch?
Reply:Must be nice to return to her house and see your work again. Cool stuff"Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
Reply:I do a lot of this kind of work as well. Yours looks great, very natural with good proportions and flow. But I would have done the hinges differently. They really detract from an other wise stunning gate. Maybe some weld on's.
Reply:Wow very good job!
Reply:very nice work. how do you get the detail into the vines trunk? it looks real. do you run it through a die or through a roller?

Reply:I had a gut feeling the hinges in the first pics were temps, or for a reason."Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
Reply:Looks awesome!
Reply:Hello Shadill Lovely work.Always good to get possitive feedback,Makes you take a second look and think outside the box,Are the vine lengths readily available? would love some to play with. Cheers Gordon.
Reply:Yeah I get most of my parts from king metals here is their link: http://www.kingmetals.com/
Reply:I purchase some of my metal from King metals, such as their Ballusters. they have a great selection and are priced very reasonably. But anyways.. this is very nice work. I have done some vines very similar to this but with a thinner 1/4" stock andthin sheetmetal leafs. I made a door for my brother and I made a memorial cross for a big contractor I do a lot of work for.
Reply:Shadill, Great work!! How do you blend the vines that well? are those two different diameter vines you bought from kings. I looked on the website and saw some different diameters, 5/16, 1/2, 3/4. Also did you build the mailbox? If so do you have a picture of the front. NickNick
