Mig welding

Reply:"Mig welder" is a bit vague. There's a huge difference between a small 110v mig from Home Depot and a 250 amp class industrial mig. The little machine is really for sheet metal and won't do more than 1/8" at best, while the industrial machine could probably be used to make certified welds on overhead cranes if the operator knew how to use it properly and was using the right wire/gas. Other projects probably fall some where in between.We really need more info. What exactly is this going to be used for? What exact machine do you have, and so on.
