Hey y'all!!So, I just got home from yet another long, but AWESOME day at school. Really enjoying it Anyway, a YouTube fan shared this video with me. I thought it was really cool. Its a super old school educational film about welding as a career. Lots of Oxy-Acetylene action, with some spot welding, and the new state of the art "ARC" welding process are all shown. Its dated 1942, and they show guys welding together tube structures for aircraft, probably headed off to war. They show an automotive assembly line, putting together cars that have been classics longer than I've been alive. I thought it was really interesting to see, just thought some of y'all here might like it.[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYLarA54Xgc&feature=player_detailpage[/ame]It's about 11 minites long, and I found it very enjoyable to watch. Just thought i'd pass it along. Have a nice day, everyone [Account Abandoned 8/8/16 Please Do Not Attempt Contact Or Expect A Reply]. See you on YouTube! -ChuckE2009

Reply:I like it! Especially at "7:30" where it talks about having good eye sight, and being "strong." I enjoy the sport of "CrossFit." No better way to get strong, and yes, it has helped my welding!www.crossfit.comGarLincoln Electric, Power MIG 256Hypertherm Powermax 45 Miller Dynasty 280DXSmith O/A torchGenesis of a welding table |
