Smith Regulator doing weird stuff

Ever seen this before? Quick fix? Or warranty exchange? Reply:I had the same problem with argon regulator. I closed the bottle, then opened it again and the problem was gone. Weird anyway...
Reply:I tried that too muliple times. I even disconnected the line to the welder to see if there was something going on there. Nope. Problem still there. Reply:Problem resolved. Miller sent me a new regulator and says the problem is rare. Can't believe how fast they got me the new regulator. Reply:My TIG regulator did something similar awhile ago after getting a new bottle of argon. Didn't make noise and jump as bad but the low pressure needle would vary up and down as it flowed. Turned out I had moister/condensation in the regulator somehow. Either from the bottle of new argon or got in the regulator when it was off the bottle. After pulling the regulator apart and cleaning it all out it has worked fine again ever since.
