With this guide you don't have to walk around your work like some home made guides. Also it has no wheels to stop and skid on a small piece of slag. Just use a center punch to mark the center of the hole to be cut, put the guide pin in the center and with one hand on the torch and the other on the guide start your burn and go. It takes a little practice to do but once you have it you will like it. Attached Images

Reply:i use a 1/0 lug with a 16 p nail bent like yours attached to the torch , without the rest of setup like yours.yours is not bad at all . mine was a fast remedy in a situation that worked
