Reply:26" TO 3'4" . The rollers came off of my boat trailer... if I didn't hit it just right , they would leave black streaks all down the sides of the boat. Saw some stands at the Home Depot and thought they looked easy to make.Since I'm new to all this it was a good project to do making the saddle and miters. Reply:Here's a tip for finding decent rollers for your project roller stands...Call a local printer that uses mechanical printing presses. Ask them if they have any old used FORM ROLLERS. The ones I use (I own a print shop) are AB Dick 360 form rollers. They have precision ball bearings on each end and are hard rubber so they dont mar up your work yet have the solidity to make for very precision work. Nothing better. You can get them from about 12 inches (by about 2 inch diameter) up to 46 inches or more depending on the larger press sizes. They will give them away because if nobody asks, they throw them out.Deve
