hey i was wondering if anyone builds custom brush guards / bumpers for trucks? I know theres alot of places out there that build them. what would you think it would cost to make my own? like material and all that stuff? if anyone makes them let me know prices as well thanks again
Reply:look up chucke2009 on youtube. He is also a member here (LANSE). he recently did a set of bumpers for his truck, showing what all is involved. He also said how much material was used as well as price. but price will probably change due to location and where you are able to get steel
Reply:Something for a small truck can be done for $200-300 easy. Larger trucks would be a couple hundred more. This is one I did for my old Sammy. Haven't gotten around to doing one for the Ram yet.My Photos on Flickr
Reply:Check out Road Rhino bumpers, they are on Ebay and have their own site. They have their bumpers in kit form( Tacked or not) and you can weld them your self. They are actually Road Armour Bumper design. Long story. There the same one I'm going to get and weld up, when I get some cash. They are 1 1/2 hours from me in Chicago Hts.
Reply:Have a look at what Pressure_Welder has madehttp://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=38393
