Iv seen on a few guys trucks were then have their hose twisten up. Looks kinda like a braid. How do they do this? I cant imagine it does anything other then looks but i like the way it looks. Any one know anything.
Reply:It looks to me like it will accelerate wear on the hose while being dragged. MikeOl' Stonebreaker "Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes"Hobart G-213 portableMiller 175 migMiller thunderbolt ac/dc stick Victor O/A setupMakita chop saw

Reply:I have used several and had mine done that way. it is easier to roll up that way if you don't use a reel. Since the hose comes as a flat then it wants to only lay one way when hand rolled. so many guys I know will separate the two and lace the two together so it is quicker and easier to roll up at the end of the day.Just my thoughts and experience. your milage may vary.

Reply:I cant upload a photo but i got it figured out. Just peeled the hoses apart and tied one end to a drill and wound it up then kept it wound up with a small hose crimp till i can get to town for something better. |
