hi guys , Greetings from Egypt... i own a small welding cylinders store that distributes cylinders in Cairo, i use 40L gas bottles with mainly 82/18 Ar-Co2 mix & 100% argon, i was seeking any info that could help me about filling & mixing cylinders in my store, instead of going to the local filling factories for each delivery required .........also i'm suspecting that our local filling factory is not making the percentages the right way, as i had some complaints from my customers, so how could i check the percentage !! is there anything like a gas analyzer for a workshop level ??and anyone have tried filling gas bottles with mixtures in the workshop before ???i searched the web for gas mixers but found only this one ( smith mixers ) :this one costs around 1000$ !!!!!but i heard that these type of mixers are used to feed the welder directly, i was thinking of attaching some compressor to the output of the mixture to be able to fill my 150 bar bottles .....any clue ?
Reply:I would think you would want to verify that your supplier is giving you quality gas first. That means verifying the mix with an analyzer.Do you really think you can mix gas and fill bottles cheaper than you can buy from your supplier?Weld like a "WELDOR", not a wel-"DERR" MillerDynasty700DX,Dynasty350DX4ea,Dynasty200DX,Li ncolnSW200-2ea.,MillerMatic350P,MillerMatic200w/spoolgun,MKCobraMig260,Lincoln SP-170T,PlasmaCam/Hypertherm1250,HFProTig2ea,MigMax1ea.
