I have a neighbor lady that is coming home from the retirerment home after she had hip replacement. Her house has two steps from the garage to the kitchen..I came up with this.. had a pair of hand railings laying around cut one down to fit the right length and welded a 2 x 24inch 3/16 flat to the back of it after I put a angle on the horizontial pieces. I put three 5/16 holes in the flat and the two on the vertical plate already on the bottom. I tig welded it together with 70S2 filler 3/32 at 150amps running the pedal so cant tell you specific amps. I didnt get a pic of the welds the carpenter stopped and picked it up before I got back from getting more batteries for my camera.. Anyway my good deed for the week. Iam paying it forward cuz I hope to get old someday and may need a hand myself!!.
