Reply:About 8 pm and he was not there. Most of the welds looked like those. Heck I would have offered to give him a hand maybe work on his settings or his pride.I've got some cast AL I'm not always proud of, so I go back over it. Leaks and pin holes make my boss crazy.
Reply:I'll give the guy the benefit of the doubt and hope he's not the actual one doing the welding. I've seen any number of guys who simply don't know how bad the guy they hired to do a job actually is. Many times the "owner" simply hires who ever gives them the cheapest price. Some times it's because they don't know any better or have a clue what decent work should actually look like, and other times it's simply because they really don't give  F'k as long as the price is cheap and they can make more money..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:That is most definetly why it has the pin hole look, you could cover that up by running the "dimes" a little closer instead of spread out so far, I also noticed that he is not running his weld uniform, I see a big glob in one picture, much wider than the rest of the weld. It's most likely going to crack.
Reply:I put a post up a few weeks ago asking for someone to explain how to "bump weld" anodized and make a video. It's a little difficult to learn with no one showing you how to.
Reply:Some people dont understand like we do. We are blessed with bird poop welds and also some of the best welders in the nation on this site.. To put it into perspective, I think a majority of us would look pretty stupid and silly trying to wake board, to him, that is obviously a tower, right? Reply:Does not look anodized to more like brushed aluminum pipe and his welds are not up to par.
