Employment...

I noticed there is not a section on jobs/employment....   I'm a newbie/combo welder and I'm just wondering where I can take this?What are some of the most lucrative ways to be a career welder?I love being under the helmet and just working on a project, but I'm sure my talents can be taken a lot further.Basically, I'd like to hear from others on this site all around the country, I'm just seeking knowledge.

In the time you've wasted on this thread you could have found the answers and/or a job by now on your own.My guess is that you haven't found what you're "looking" for because you're not really looking...just expecting the info to fall in your lap, along with a job opportunity.Good luck with that.
Reply:Ok, I will bite. Go seek out shops or manufacturers in your area and ask to apply for a job. Continue school at night. Any experience is beneficial even if it is bad. Why did you not post your location? That would be helpful.
