Has anyone used the scroll bending attachment to the HF bench bender?I'm having some trouble getting smooth bends, and cant figure it out.The directions were a bit vague, but I know it's me not the machine.
Reply:It's the bender. If you look you will see the inner small die has a flat spot at the end of it's reach right before it transfer to the outer die. Just build the flat spot up with some weld and grind it back to a smooth arc. That will greatly improve the appearence of you scrolls.
