Rookie welding

Keep in mind I'm not a welder and have no actual work experience. I took a class at the local community college in January, and haven't touched a machine since March. My instructor offer to let me stop by the school to practice a bit. So here's some of the better attempts after about an hour.  1/16 aluminum . With 1/16 4043 I think I was set at 125 amps on the machine. Pretty sure I had a 3/32 2% thoriated tungsten.I will say I do like melting metal. Hopefully I'll get a tig of my own some day so I can get some real practice in. Any pointers are appreciated.P.s. I can't seem to attach more than 1 photo at a time from my phone. Reply:A good example to other instructors........Obviously this person's instructor imbeded some "this is how you do it" into his student.Looks good in the booth ... but the real world is much more of a challenge.Continue to practice.Lincoln SA200's... at least 15 - 20. They come and go. Growing partial to the "Short Hoods" in my old age. Last count on Short Hoods was 13 in possession.
