CAD Recommendations

I looking for an easy to learn CAD program; does anyone have any recommendations?I want to design some simple machine modifications, like adding a pulley to my drill press to slow it down; build a belt sander, and other shop tools...  My "on the fly" design skills aren't cutting it any more!Last edited by Rimari; 08-10-2014 at 10:41 AM.
Reply:I learned Siemens Solid Edge in university and can recommend it. It is very easy to learn and very intuitive. Way better than solid works or Autocad. There is a free trial on the website and you can get an educational version for free that cannot be used commercial though but is fully featured. There are lots of interactive tutorials build in.
