Friend of mine has asked me to build a 6'x10' utility trailer, where can I get a decently priced complete idler axle with a spring center of 70". We called tractor supply an they wanted $250.00 an some change for one but it didn't come with springs or hangers. Northern tool has one that comes with every thing you need but it's a 72" spring center axle. Might just make the trailer wider but that would kinda throw stuff off as far as cutting metal and putting in the wood.93 Bobcat 225GMillerMatic 135HF Tig 91811
Reply:Trailerpart.com sells axles by the inch.My name's not Jim....
Reply:Length is not nearly as important as rated weight. You can buy axels by the inch and in 500 pound increments.Choose wisely.Be wary of The Numbers: Figures don't lie,. but liars can figure.Welders:2008 Lincoln 140 GMAW&FCAW2012 HF 165 'toy' GTAW&SMAW1970's Cobbled together O/A
