Not sure if this is in the right place but here goes. A guy at work has a Lincoln AC 200 or 225 that his brother bought at Home Depot about 5 years ago and paid $239.00. He wants to get rid of it (it's in his garage) and his brother said to make an offer. They only used it a couple of times, and couldn't get the hang of it, so under the bench it went.I would like to make an offer but I have no idea what it's worth (or how to use it for that matter) but I thought it might be cool to learn on. Any and all suggestions or comments would be appreciated. Thanks VGuy
Reply:i would say what ever its worth to YOU??? half price?? a little more used welders tuff call
Reply:Somewhere around $100 for a used machine. You can probably find some in the paper in your area to give you the going rate for the old AC-only machines.
Reply:Thanks for the quick response guys. Thats about what I was thinking. they just want to get rid of it but I want to be fair. Thanks Vguy
Reply:Tuff call. I've seen pretty old beat up ones sell for the $100 mark. If this is nice and clean you might want to step it up a few $. Like most things going rate for used can vary do to supply and demand.DennisThermal Arc 185-TSWMillermatic Challenger 172VictorO/AAtlas Craftsman 12 by 24 LatheEsab PCM-875Wholesalem Tool Mill-Drill |
