OK I have the Dynasty now, I still use the Lincoln 355.....What is the EN-EP ratio on the Lincoln on the wave balance control from cleaning to penetration? Because Im pretty happy with the results I get from the Lincoln as far as Wave control.....   Miller Dynasty 350Twenty Six HammersThree Crow BarsBig Rock
Reply:I don't want to sound confused but if the 200 Dynasty can't adjust its EN and  EPwhat is it set at from the factory.....1.0.....1.5......2.0 Im sure it welds good so what is the happy spot?  Miller Dynasty 350Twenty Six HammersThree Crow BarsBig Rock

Reply:I think the Dynasty200 is same as the default programs on the 350. Reply:Yeah that makes since,  and you can make a small change with the balance setting...Still haven't used the Dynasty that much to get familiar with the thing so busy with production I have to stick to what I know works for me and the customer.....  Miller Dynasty 350Twenty Six HammersThree Crow BarsBig Rock

Reply:For whatever it might be worth, on my 2010 Syncrowave 250 DX, the AC balance settings range from: 0 is 55% EP and 45% EN for Max Cleaning 3 is 50%-50% Balanced10 is 32% EP and 68% EN for Max Penetrationand the way the face of the machine is painted at the factory, it looks like they're suggesting a starting point of 7 for AC TIG, which I'm guessing would be about 60% EN and 40% EP.Hope this helps.
Reply:Originally Posted by jakeruAll I could find on the Lincoln AC Balance question was that, with your AC Wave Balance setting at "3", you'll be at 50% EN / EP.(Source: the manual, at http://www.lincolnelectric.com/asset...oln3/im467.pdf )  I couldn't find what the min and max of the adjustment range is.  Maybe you could call Lincoln support to find out.The AC Bias ratio for most other TIG machines would be 100% (same EP and EN current). To better simulate the waveform of the Lincoln on your Dynasty, you might try setting your AC waveform into "soft square" setting.

Reply:Cool I m getting more of an understanding of the Dynasty now....It has wayyyyyyy too many adjustments for a guy that just wants to tig some parts .......hahahahahaa  Miller Dynasty 350Twenty Six HammersThree Crow BarsBig Rock
Reply:Originally Posted by B_CYeah that does help so the balance is a fine adjust and the Dynasty with its adjustable EN and EP  is a corse adjustment?
Reply:If I remember from playing with a Dyn 300 last year, the ac balance should be under one of the menu buttons, I think the wave shapes on the right and should be adjustable in 1% increments from something like 20%, to 80 or 90% EN vs EP. Enjoying the new inverter? I was swamped with settings too when I first played with one haha. I actually found the Stick Low OCV stick the other day....65~70% EN is usually a good starting point to shoot off of on inverters. When we use the synchro it gets left around 7ish which would make sense seeing from what Kelvin mentioned.HTP Invertig 221-DV -- get's dragged everywhere.Syncro 200 -- "The Boat Anchor" at the lab.Lincoln 125 MIG
