Should the pop-off valve close itself after the pressure drops? Am I missing something? I bought a new 140 psi pop-off thinking the old one was just sticking but the new one won't shut back off. Any ideas?DewayneDixieland WeldingMM350PLincoln 100Some torchesOther misc. tools

Reply:Whenever the psi gets to 120 the engine slows but continues to build pressure. Is the unloader valve the one with the line going to the engine? If I flip that valve while it's building it'll slow the engine but continues to pump.DewayneDixieland WeldingMM350PLincoln 100Some torchesOther misc. tools

Reply:I've always been honest, sometime it makes me look stupid though. I've never wanted to be like my cousin "the know it all" and don't know anything. I can't stand that, it drives me nuts. If I screw up I admit it, don't make excuses it just makes ya look worse Hopefully someone else can learn from my foolish mistakes.DewayneDixieland WeldingMM350PLincoln 100Some torchesOther misc. tools
